I Do – Harvey’s Wedding Diary #Blog

Mary Jo & Adam

“We just got married at Harvey’s last week. We had the best day of our lives. It surpassed both of expectations. Samantha, Kathleen and the whole team at Harvey’s are what really make it the best wedding venue. From the moment we booked, they were always on hand and said “yes” and had a “can do” attitude, responding to any query/email nearly instantly.”

getting married in donegal. planning your wedding from abroad.Get the Paperwork Sorted first This may seem totally obvious but it is definitely worth mentioning! Paperwork can take that much longer to process when you are dealing with different time zones and relying on email so get your ducks in a row early to save yourself some hassle. Paperwork must be lodged at least 3 months prior to the date. It is possible to apply for your marriage licence by post but this can take months to process. You must meet with the registrar in person at least 5 days prior to your wedding. Also, if one of you happens to be another nationality then you may need to apply for an Apostille stamp and this process can take 6 weeks.
